This was my first visit with Dr. Pollock and I was very pleased with her common sense approach, kindness, and her sensitivity to my needs at this stage of my life. I look forward to continuing with her as a patient.

Dr. Pollock is outstanding: thorough, knowledgeable, and caring.

The only issue I experienced this time was waiting time, almost an hour. The rest is amazing.

She told me not all women go through perimenopause but didn't explain why.

This last appt. I had was with a routine visit with my GYN. I am not sure which provider you want to know about, but my very best Primary doctor retired a year ago and I cannot seem to find any doctor as good as he was!

Dr Pollock was called to an emergency delivery! Understanding her profession. Everyone needs to be flexible!

Dr. Pollack is wonderful. She's a blend of both personal and professional. She and her colleagues are the reason I have chosen Mission Affiliated Physicians as my medical group. I only wish I had a PCP I felt this way about! Hopefully I will be able to find one soon from the list of recommendations Dr. Pollack just gave me.

To clarify, it took 2 months to get the appointment. However, this was my 1st visit with Dr. Pollock. I'm finding that 2 months to see a specialist is not unusual. To see Dr. Pollock, it was well worth the wait. She's an excellent physician. In regards to the staff, intake MA or whoever she was did not follow the instructions for taking blood pressure. I had to remind her that the arm needs to be at heart level. She flipped out a little arm rest that was attached to the chair. It's easy to use. I think these MA's, staff members who do the intake should be trained on how to obtain an accurate blood pressure reading. After all, people are being prescribed blood pressure meds who don't need them because either the staff isn't trained or just don't care. There are 5 points to do prior to taking a blood pressure reading. I learned this at the VA medical center when taking my friend for care. If the VA can get it right, why can't private practice do the same. I'm not picking on Dr. Pollock's office. I experience this in all doctor's offices I see. Please spread the news.
