About Jacqueline V. Trejo
Dr. Trejo is a board certified obstetrician and gynecologist, with expertise in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.
Dr. Trejo was born in Lima, Peru. Her family immigrated to California when she was a young child. Always focused and hard working, she was able to realize her dream of becoming a physician. Dr. Trejo graduated from the UC San Diego in La Jolla with a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology, followed by a Master’s degree in Physiology from Georgetown University in Washington, DC. She went on to earn her medical degree at the University of Texas, San Antonio and graduated in the top of her class. Dr. Trejo than returned to Los Angeles to be with her family and completed her residency in Ob-Gyn at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
Dr. Trejo is an advocate for Hispanic health and women’s health issues in Los Angeles. She is also an active member of the American College of OB-Gyn as an immunization advocate.

After being under the care of Dr. Trejo for about 6-7 years, She failed to call and inform me of my positive breast cancer results. I had to follow up with her office and demand to get the results and find the results on the portal! Then the next day her PA called me to inform me of my results. When I shared my disappointment with the Doctor herself on my visit she simply said she is sorry and was not even concerned when I said I probably won't go back. Her only question was if I still wanted her to perform the Pap test that day!!!She lacks empathy and care for her patients, and I know two other people around me that stopped going to her. I wish I did leave her practice earlier!
