Kara A. Richardson, MD

Dr. Kara Richardson is an OB/GYN physician who provides comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care with a strong focus on patient education and informed decision-making. Introduced to medicine early through her mother, also an OB/GYN physician, she developed a passion for reproductive health and caring for patients throughout their lives. Dr. Richardson manages a wide range of concerns, including routine and high-risk prenatal care, heavy bleeding, fibroids, painful periods, and pregnancy complications. She also provides contraceptive counseling, pre-pregnancy care, and abortion services. She has a particular interest in adolescent health and caring for LGBTQ+ patients. Her surgical practice includes minimally invasive and robotic procedures. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, hiking, tennis, and exploring local restaurants and happy hours with her partner.
