Laura E. Sienas, MD

Dr. Laura Sienas is a maternal-fetal medicine specialist with extensive experience caring for medically complex pregnancies. She completed medical school at the University of Washington and later completed OB/GYN residency and maternal-fetal medicine fellowship training. She is known for her ability to explain complex information clearly and support patients through highly stressful and uncertain moments. Her clinical interests include cardiovascular disease in pregnancy, hypertensive disorders, preterm labor, and fetal anomalies. She also provides procedural care such as selective reduction and has experience managing pregnancies in patients with organ transplants. Dr. Sienas is an advocate for improving the quality and accessibility of maternal health care and has contributed to maternal mortality review and policy efforts at state and national levels. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, SCUBA diving, and visiting national parks with her husband and two Labrador retrievers.
