About Amanda M. Bujaucius
As a midwife I love helping families' welcome new babies into this world by facilitating their birthing goals. Birth work is not the only service midwives provide though. I strive to create a safe, inclusive space, where individuals feel heard, respected, and empowered in their reproductive health care decisions. My approach blends clinical expertise with a holistic perspective supporting patients from puberty through menopause. I am committed to advocating for equitable care and fostering trust through open communication and joint decision making. I strongly believe in continuity of patient care through physician collaboration when needed. This means patients can still have midwifery care, even if they do need a higher level of expertise due to the integrated practice here at Providence OB/GYN. Midwifery is a labor of love for me, and I consider myself honored to be a part of women's health care.

Outside of work Amanda enjoys the over 200 house plants she has. Her family runs a bottle-feeding kitten rescue out of their home and work with local animal shelters in the area. Amanda is also a soap maker.
