Providence understands selecting a provider is a very personal choice, especially when it comes to delivering your children. The relationship created with your care team throughout your prenatal and delivery experience can last a lifetime. That’s why Providence offers obstetrics and midwifery options to fit your personal care preferences.
Compassionate care and the latest technology combine for the best in obstetric care. We provide pregnancy dating, nuchal translucency screening tests and 3D fetal growth assessment ultrasound in our office.
Midwifery is a health care profession in which providers offer care to childbearing women during pregnancy, labor and birth, and throughout their postpartum period. In addition, midwives provide well-woman care related to reproductive health, annual gynecological exams, family planning and menopausal care.
Providence OBGYN obstetricians and midwives deliver at both Medford hospitals.
Providence BirthPlace at Providence Medford Medical Center invites all expectant mothers and their husbands or partners to tour its family-centered birthing suites. Learn more about scheduling a tour.
