Anna L. Raffaelli, CNM

Anna Raffaelli is a Certified Nurse-Midwife who provides comprehensive midwifery and gynecologic care with a focus on patient education and supportive, evidence-based practice. She was introduced to midwifery while working as a volunteer doula and was drawn to its patient-centered approach and emphasis on shared decision-making. Anna values building ongoing relationships with patients and strives to ensure each visit leaves them feeling informed, supported, and confident in their health decisions. Her clinical interests include prenatal care, labor and birth support, postpartum care, family planning and contraceptive counseling, and adolescent health. She is committed to providing inclusive, affirming care for all patients, including those who identify as LGBTQIA+. Before becoming a midwife, Anna worked as a nurse and legislative advocate for women’s health. She is a member of the Oregon chapters of the American College of Nurse-Midwives and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Outside work, she enjoys time with her family, cooking, traveling, and exploring Portland’s restaurants and breweries.
