Leanne S. Klein, OTR/L

Leanne grew up locally, having been raised in Woodburn, Oregon. She attended University of Oregon where she received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She went on to attend graduate school at University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA where she received a Masters of Occupational Therapy in 1991. Leanne started working for the Providence Health System in 1992 as a part of the Worker Rehabilitation Program. In 2002, she began working in outpatient rehabilitation where she had the opportunity to work with both hand and neurologic patients. Throughout her years with Providence, Leanne has also had the opportunity to work in inpatient rehabilitation as well as in a skilled nursing setting which has provided her with exposure to many diagnoses along the continuum of care. Leanne completed a Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist (CSRS) program in 2015 and became a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) in 2018. Her clinical specialties are in the areas of: hand therapy, concussions, ergonomics, and stroke. She currently works in Sherwood and Newberg Rehab clinics. Outside of work, Leanne enjoys hiking, traveling, kayaking, being a wife and mom to two teenage boys.
