About Aneet S. Toor
Dr. Toor is a highly trained specialist in sports, shoulder, and fracture surgery. Specialties include minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery and outpatient shoulder replacements. Dr. Toor strives to bring compassion, understanding, and expert care to all patients whether it is for improvement in physical function or better pain relief. Prior to joining COS, Dr. Toor earned his Bachelor of Science degree from UCLA and a Doctorate of Medicine from Ohio State University. After finishing his surgical residency at the University of Chicago, Dr. Toor completed a sports medicine fellowship at the renowned Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles. While at Kerlan-Jobe, he served as a team physician for the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Kings, and Anaheim Ducks. As a native of the San Fernando Valley, he is happy to be back living and working in his hometown. Dr. Toor currently volunteers as the team physician for both Crespi and Kennedy High Schools. He is an avid moviegoer and regularly plays tennis and beach volleyball.

The team and Dr Toor are awesome. However I was brought back to the exam room with less than a 5 minute wait in the waiting room and then waited 40 minutes in the examroom. My touch base with the doctor was 10 minutes tops. He is GREAT, his team is GREAT (especially the check in guy) but this wait time was rough. Someone simply popping their head in to check on me would have been helpful. I was worried at one point they left to go home when it got quiet outside.

Dr. Toor was great. The office staff was the opposite. I handed them my MRI and Xray CDs and inexplicably they were lost or misplaced multiple times in the mere 15 minutes before my appointment. One nurse even tried to take new X-Rays. In addition, they kept referring to me by the wrong last name and that continued even after I corrected them. Simple patient respect was lacking.

Dr. Toor did a very good job with surgery for my broken ankle. The office visits are loaded with patients so his time with me is limited and therefore he does not really want to hear questions or concerns. He goes over my status, shows me Xrays and discusses them and tells me about steps I should take to further my recovery. I understand and accept this and if I ever were to need his services again I would welcome them. Hopefully will never need to see him for something new.
