Dr Toor was very personable and professional and answered all my questions that I knew to ask. My 2 dissatisfactions: (1) After spending quite a lot of time filling out online my medical history for this first visit, I then had to fill out those forms again by hand when I arrived at my appointment (and, apparently, there is no accessing the films from other Facey providers as I shift from my prior orthopedist at OSS Burbsnk, also part of Facey, to Dr Toor), and (2) after the xray, Dr Toor said my shoulder was structurally sound: I have since learned that only an MRI will show whether I have a torn rotator cuff, which was the whole point of my being there, so I didn't really get the answer to my question bc I don't know I had to ask the specific question in a specific way in order to be truly informed about my condition. No mri was discussed.

My orthopedic Dr gave me cortisone injections for my painful hips. So far this has been better than last October. Yes!!

Provider was caring and explained Information as to why I was having medical Issue and referred me for physical therapy. At time I made appointment I was having considerable pain but was not asked this question and needed to wait 3 weeks before first available able appointment time. I was referred by my primary physician.

Dr.Toor is an amazing Doctor. He is always everything you would want in a Doctor. He pays attention to any questions a patient may have. He explains all issues and procedures. He makes a patient feel secure and has an amazing attitude no matter how busy the office may be. I have been in his care for 4 years since he performed a total reverse shoulder replacement on me.And he has addressed the issues with my knees, back and arthritis. He has such an optimistic attitude and I'm so fortunate to be his patient!

Dr. Toor is kind, thoughtful and super smart (of course) - he listened closely to my experiences and his advice was clear and well-reasoned: wait another 6 weeks to decide about surgery. A 5 cm tear is a big one (3 cm is the point where they usually suggest surgery), but he said my overall health, stamina, and taking care of my leg has helped me make a remarkable recovery so far - the range of motion is very near to my other leg just (obviously) not quite as strong and flexible. He suggests wearing gel lifts to help focus the healing upward and using a cane to ease the pressure and remind myself to be careful. A fall or other injury to the leg at this point could be devastating. But he said he is cautiously optimistic and rates my chance of needing surgery as "UNLIKELY!" It's like a huge weight has been lifted off of me and I feel I understand what has happened to me and what to do to be likely to achieve the desired outcome. I wish Dr. Toor was my primary doctor because it is rare to find a doctor so empathetic and thoughtful.
