Kimberly D. Hand, PAC

Kimberly Hand is a physician assistant who specializes in assisting with orthopedic trauma, primary and revision total joint reconstruction, lumbar and cervical spinal surgery, including scoliosis, and general orthopedic surgical procedures. She has also been trained in fracture reduction, splinting and casting, joint injections and aspirations, wound care, including wound VAC management, and laceration closure. Kimberly joined Anchorage Fracture & Orthopedic Clinic in 2013. Kimberly graduated with a bachelor of science in exercise and sport science from Northwestern State University of Louisiana in Natchitoches, Louisiana. She then obtained her master of physician assistant studies from Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, California. She received additional training in general surgery at the Alta Bates Summit Medical Center in Oakland, California, as well as the Kaiser Permanente Walnut Creek Medical Center in Walnut Creek, California. Kimberly is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
