Both Dr. Haight and all other personnel were effective, very nice and knowledgeable. It would be nice to have more time with the Dr but I realize that is not possible these days. The time available was used about as well as possible.

As a retired physician, I think Holly Haight, M.D. Is a top notch physician/orthopedic surgeon. She spent close to an hour reviewing my history and exam results and she clearlr explained all my options re my hip osteoarthritis. She answered all my questions and we came up with a very logical plan. I have seen multiple orthopedic surgeons over the 40 years I lived in [Location] and, honestly, Dr. Haight is one of the best. Humboldt County is incredibly fortunate to have access to her.

She was very knowledgeable about my condition and concerns. She gave me options to try instead of surgery for now.

Dr Haight did my left knee replacement a bit over 1 year ago. Her whole team as well as all the orthopedic office staff were excellent!! I would recommend and have to anyone who would a knee or hip replacement to Dr Holly Haight, her PA-C, and her medical assistant and the whole surgical team she has created!

Was to receive X-ray before seeing doctor. Doctor started the exam before as radiology was behind. Before all my question were answered X-ray tech said they were ready so went to radiology. As finishing X-ray doctor in radiology reviewing results and indicating I was free to go. Never got all my questions answered.

So happy to have such a good professional. There was a problem with my physical therapy referral, the physical therapist did not receive a referral that had been made a month prior. Caused some scheduling anxiety but things worked out with a few phone calls. Questions for this survey wete wonky, doctor Haight is a knee replacement specialist, and my appointment was the pre-surgery check-in, so the questions often didn't really apply. Very happy woth the care received from Dr. Haight and her team.

All staff were professional, positive attitude, helpful, and seemed very well trained (as a patient I can't really assess this, it's just my impression). All in all, like an oasis in what has been called the Humboldt "medical desert."

She was very proper and professional. She said surgery could not be done to repair the tears in my thigh/hip areas but she did not tell me why that was the case. She showed little empathy.

Changes occurring at present. Prior years only one appointment made. This time I had to have an x-Ray appointment prior to doctors. E-mailed pre-registration which I did. X-rays delayed so wondered about doing them this new way as I had to pay for my transportation to appointments. My care has been excellent through this and 3 other surgeries so maybe old way they were doing x-rays better.

I have spread the amazing Surgery results, an now She's booked fast , for her schedule, Last week waiting for Pt, an All of Is had surgery by her , we all agreed she's gift ,an caring , was able to ask about knee surgery!!Four

Dr. Haight and her team treated me cordially and with respect. I did have to wait a long time in the exam room before being seen.

I felt like she was in a hurry to leave the room.

Dr Haight was communicative and easy to speak with. I had a right hip posterior arthroplasty. Previously, I'd had a left hip anterior arthroplasty. Because the muscles aren't cut during the anterior operation, in my experience it is a far less painful surgery to heal from because the thigh muscles we're separated, not cut during the operation. In six days, the pain was controllable with extra strength Tylenol. For the posterior approach, four major muscles we're cut, and I had to take hydrocodone for 42 days. In my antidotal experience, the anterior approach was seven times less painful and the post operation recovery period was much shorter. I'm hoping there is some professional comparison that proves empirically that the anterior arthroplasty is superior, so many future patients can be spared the additional pain and slower recovery period. Dr Haight was sorry to hear this, which made me think very well of her.
