About Jeffrey F. Sodl
Dr. Jeff Sodl is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon with fellowship training in Sports Medicine and Shoulder Reconstruction. He was born outside Philadelphia and attended the University of Notre Dame. He earned his medical degree at The Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University. He then completed both internship and residency at The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Sodl was wonderful. He is a caring, knowledgeable professional who made me feel completely at ease. He showed me the results of my x-ray and explained in detail what had happened to my shoulder. He reared me for physical therapy and discussed future options for treatment.

His recommendation for surgery is shoulder replacement for rotator cuff ligament injury I declined I went for cortisone injection recommended even I'm a Type 2 diabetic On my last visit since I can move my shoulder pretty good we'll try with no surgery. I asked him if there will be be surgery what it will be I don't know exactly the term but it has something to do with my biceps repositioning differently from his first recommendation of shoulder replacement
