About Richard A. Rogachefsky
Dr. Richard Alan Rogachefsky is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a Fellow of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. His medical expertise is in Orthopaedic Surgery, Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery.
In 1983, Dr. Rogachefsky earned a B.A. in Biology from the University of Rochester (Rochester, New York). He received his medical degree in 1987, at University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School, Chicago, Illinois. His professional training continued with the completion of a Surgical Internship at Jackson Memorial Medical Center’ Department of Surgery, Miami, Florida, followed by a highly regarded Hand and Microsurgery Fellowship at the University of South Florida and Tampa General Hospital’s Department of Orthopedics.
His 22 years of experience also involve an intense interest in research, which resulted in numerous articles and presentations features in peer medical publications. He has co-authored 3 books: “The Wrist and Hand”, “The Elbow: Anatomy, Pathology and Diagnosis” and “Hand Rehabilitation after Surgery”.
