Akash Gupta, MD

Dr. Akash Gupta is an orthopaedic surgeon with subspecialty training in foot and ankle surgery and reconstruction. He has specialized training in new minimally invasive surgeries (MIS) of several foot and ankle conditions that lead to less pain, faster return to activity, and lower complications. In addition to treating all disorders of the foot and ankle, he provides comprehensive general orthopaedic services, including management of fractures and orthopaedic trauma care. Dr. Gupta strives for excellence in the care of his patients utilizing the latest techniques based on current research.

Dr. Gupta completed his undergraduate and medical training at the University of Southern California. He returned to the Northwest to complete his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Washington, one of the busiest and most well-respected orthopaedic trauma hospitals in the nation.

Following residency, Dr. Gupta completed a Fellowship in Foot and Ankle Surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery and Weill Cornell Medical College in New York, a highly prestigious fellowship at the top orthopaedic hospital in the nation. During this phase of his training, he participated in the surgical care of foot and ankle disorders of many collegiate and professional athletes from around the country, including from the NFL, NBA, NHL, USA Basketball, Association of Tennis Professionals, National Lacrosse League, and the New York City Ballet.

Outside of work, Dr. Gupta enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, as well as golfing, fishing, and being active outdoors.
