Dr. James Pritchit is best at what does on the west coast if not the country. Im thankful to have him as my Dr.

Thus far , my recovery seems to be on track and I'll be returning to work shortly.

My doctor and nurse where very nice and made me feel comfortable.

Pritchett is one of only two Orthopedic Surgeons I've found in the Seattle area competent to do resurface work. His focus on positive outcome for for me as a patient is really appreciated.

Dr. Pritechet is extremely knowledgeable and was able to explain to me more about my condition (FAI) and options for treatment. I will definitely see Dr. Pritchett again in the future to assess the viability of hip resurfacing.

Evaluation of onset knee problems and medical plan. Discussed options for treatment of shoulder joint if condition worsen and pain level intolerable. Very open and clear guidance.

I wish Dr. Prichett spends more time answering questions.

Being that I'd previously had a similar procedure, I would rate Dr. Pritchard and the procedure he and his Team provided as easily being 50% less invasive!

He was very attentive to my concerns and provided excellent feedback. My provider was extremely knowledgable and took a holistic approach, which I really appreciate.

I believe the minimal issues in communication encountered in setting up this first visit with Dr. Pritchett were due to the distance (from New Jersey to Seattle) and certainly did not bear on the excellent visit I had with the doctor. Looking forward to continuing the relationship.

Swedish has only supported me for surgeons and surgery for replacing both knees, and now preparations for replacing my left hip, expected to be late January 2026. All contact and services provided by Swedish have been outstanding!

Excellent video consultation. Very detailed. Answered all the questions I asked. I want to have the surgery we discussed.

Dr. Pritchett has performed three successful joint replacements for me. One more to go. I have total trust in his ability and care. It has been amazing to see the improvements and changes in procedures over the last 12 years. Love his nurse Susan too!

Appointments are scheduled far out regarding immediate concerns and yearly exams, o.e. Wellness Checkups, are scheduled out 16 months for the next checkup going past the yearly requirement by insurance provider.

I recommend Dr Pritchett to anyone that will listen. He is an odd duck but after 7 surgeries with him, he is still one of the best. He has totally embraced all of my complications. None of which had to to with him, it is just how my life goes. I accept it!

Dr. Pritchett is a genius with a cordial, very short bedside manner. I drove 225 miles, one way, to have a post op visit. It would be nice If It had lasted more than 20 minutes from the time I got out of my car upon arrival, to the time I got back In to leave.

As a surgeon, I consider Dr. Pritchitt's examination skills and communication far above normal. I was consulting with him about hip replacement and he found and described other medical issues primarily with my back, that would impact my ability to have a successful surgery and recovery. I consider him the best I have ever encountered.

Dr Pritchett is my orthopedic provider (prior hip resurfacing 2012) and I had a new issue that I wanted help to manage (dx and tx options). He has always been easy to talk to and has realistic treatment options.
