Michael Tao, MD

Dr. Tao is a general Otolaryngologist–Head and Neck Surgeon providing comprehensive ENT care to patients throughout the Pacific Northwest. Dr. Tao treats a wide range of ear, nose, and throat conditions, with special clinical interests in ear disorders, sinus disease and sinus surgery, and head and neck pathology, while maintaining a broad, comprehensive ENT practice. Dr. Tao is drawn to otolaryngology for its unique variety of procedures and the meaningful impact the specialty can have on patients’ quality of life. Dr. Tao is committed to delivering thoughtful, evidence-based care that is tailored to each patient’s goals and values. Patient-centered decision-making is a cornerstone of Dr. Tao’s practice, with an emphasis on clear communication, shared decision-making, and individualized treatment plans. In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Tao has contributed to the field of otolaryngology through the publication of several peer-reviewed articles and maintains a strong interest in medical education.
