Adam M. Larsen, DO

Dr. Adam Larsen is a pediatric cardiologist and Eastern Washington native who grew up in Richland. He is grateful to have returned to the Inland Northwest to care for children and families with congenital and acquired heart disease. Dr. Larsen earned his undergraduate degree in chemistry from Brigham Young University and his medical degree from Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences in Yakima. He completed his pediatric residency at the University of Oklahoma School of Community Medicine and his pediatric cardiology fellowship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and Children’s Nebraska, where he served as chief pediatric cardiology fellow. His clinical interests include congenital heart disease, echocardiography, fetal cardiology, and bicuspid aortic valve disease and aortopathy. Throughout his training, he participated in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives and continues to be actively involved in medical education. Dr. Larsen also serves as the local affiliate medical director for Project ADAM, supporting efforts to prevent sudden cardiac death in children and adolescents by improving cardiac emergency preparedness in schools and communities. He is passionate about extending cardiovascular care beyond the clinic through education, preparedness, and community partnership.
