Adam Z. Kalawi, MD

Dr. Adam Kalawi is board certified in neurology with special qualifications in child neurology. He is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Chapman University having majored in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. He completed his medical education at UC Irvine School of Medicine and went on to complete specialty training in the combined Child Neurology training program at UC San Diego and Rady Children’s Hospital. As an expert in pediatric neurology, Dr. Kalawi cares for babies, kids, and teens with a wide variety of neurologic conditions, with particular interests in epilepsy, autoimmune encephalitides, neurogenetics, and precision medicine. Dr. Kalawi takes special interest in healthcare innovations, clinical informatics, and applications of artificial intelligence in medicine. He is also involved in the CHOC Medical Intelligence and Innovation Institute.
