Austin Layton, DO

Dr. Austin Layton, D.O. MSc is a pediatric neurologist at Providence. He grew up in the Pacific Northwest and his journey through medical training has included stops in England at Durham University, Oregon for medical school at Western University of Health Sciences in Lebanon, and San Diego for child neurology training at University of California - San Diego and Rady Children's Hospital. He appreciates the breadth and depth of knowledge that practicing pediatric neurology requires, while enjoying the challenge of being able to apply that knowledge to the unique aspects of each individual patient and their background. No two patients or families are alike, and that individuality necessitates a singular plan for care. His other clinical passions include ensuring equitable patient access, clinical informatics, and practice improvement. Outside of work, Dr. Layton enjoys quality time with family and friends, playing board games, and being outside.
