Qiu Zhong, MD

Dr. Qiu Zhong is a board-certified otolaryngologist at CHOC in Orange County, California. As an expert in pediatric otolaryngology, Dr. Zhong treats the whole spectrum of ear, nose, and throat disorders for babies, kids and teens. Her clinical interests include pediatric otology, sinus disease, neck masses, and complex sleep disorders. Dr. Zhong is the co-director for the Sleep Surgery Program at CHOC treating complex sleep apnea conditions. She is also a member of the multidisciplinary Aerodigestive Clinic treating patients with complex respiratory and digestive system issues. In addition, Dr. Zhong is a member of the Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia group at CHOC. Dr. Zhong received her bachelor’s degree in Molecular Cell Biology and Biochemistry from University of California, Berkeley and graduated Summa Cum Laude. She went on to medical school at University of Southern California. Dr. Zhong completed her residency in otolaryngology at Northwestern University. She served as a fellow in pediatric otolaryngology at Rady Children’s/UC San Diego.
