Marlyn Kato, PT, DPT, PCS

Marlyn Kato is a Physical Therapist at Providence Children's Development Clinic. Marlyn is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Pediatric Physical Therapy. She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Pacific University. Marlyn has experience in various pediatric settings working with children and families in the school district (K-12), early intervention, early childhood special education, home health, subacute inpatient for medically complex children, and outpatient and inpatient pediatrics. As a movement expert, her areas of special interest to treat include: gross motor delay, developmental disabilities, pediatric neuromuscular and musculoskeletal disorders, durable medical equipment and orthotics, car seat positioning, and improving children and families’ participation in society. Marlyn is a native Coloradoan who traded the Rocky Mountains for the Cascades but won’t trade her basketball Nuggets jersey for a Trail Blazers jersey. In her free time, Marlyn enjoys bowling in a weekly league, playing pickleball, practicing her golf swing with her husband, and watching NBA basketball with her 2 cats.
