Makiko Ogawa, CCC-SLP

Makiko Ogawa is a Speech-Language Pathologist at Providence Children's Development Clinic . Whether it is direct or indirect therapy services, Makiko ensures she “listens” to the children and their families, so the services she offers empower the whole family to support their children’s communication skills, build confidence and participate more fully in social and academic activities. Makiko has worked in many settings, including schools, hospitals, home health, private clinics and early intervention programs. She is passionate about working with children who have deafness or are hard-of-hearing. Makiko is excited to be a part of PCDC team and continue to support children and their families in the Pacific Northwest area! Outside of work, you will find Makiko going on a walk by herself or with her family, swimming, knitting, doodling, experimenting with new recipes in the privacy of her own kitchen.
