Edward C. Diaz, MD

Dr. Diaz grew up in the Los Angeles area and completed his undergraduate degree in molecular, cell and developmental biology at the University of California, Los Angeles. He subsequently did his medical education at the Keck School of Medicine of USC and completed his urology residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He completed a pediatric urology fellowship at Northwestern University/Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago. As an educator, he has served as Clinical Instructor and Assistant Professor at Case Western University School of Medicine and Stanford University, respectively. He has published on minimally invasive surgery in urology, contrast-enhanced ultrasound and regenerative medicine (stem cells and nano technology). Clinical interests include minimally invasive surgery, fetal urology and spina bifida.
