Lubena S. Khambaty, MD

Dr. Khambaty is a board-certified pediatrician dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to children of all ages. She values building lasting relationships with families and supporting them through every stage of their child’s growth and development. Dr. Khambaty completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, San Diego, and earned her medical degree before completing her pediatric residency at UCSF Fresno. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and remains committed to staying current with the latest advancements in pediatric care. Having recently moved to Irvine to be closer to family, Dr. Khambaty is excited to serve the community where she grew up. Fluent in Spanish and Gujarati, and with a strong understanding of Hindi and Urdu, she strives to provide culturally sensitive and inclusive care to all families. As a mother of two, including a spirited toddler, Dr. Khambaty brings a personal understanding of the joys and challenges of parenthood. She is passionate about empowering parents, offering guidance on breastfeeding and nutrition, and promoting the well-being of her young patients. In her free time, Dr. Khambaty enjoys exploring local parks with her children, trying new recipes, and playing strategy board games.
