About Albert Y. Kim
Dr. Kim received his Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Berkeley and his MD from California Northstate University College of Medicine. He completed his pediatric residency training at UC Irvine Health and Rady Children’s Hospital, where he graduated with distinction in primary care. His rigorous, high-volume training included caring for children in the PICU, NICU, and ED. Dr. Kim developed a passion for preventive medicine and believes in helping children build healthy foundations early in life to reduce the risk of illness and chronic disease later on. He is also interested in the responsible and effective use of artificial intelligence in medicine and helped launch resident education on AI at his training program. He has presented on this topic at several conferences. He believes in staying current with the latest medical research and evidence to provide the best care for every child. His faith in Christ inspires him to serve others with compassion and excellence.
