Laura E. Gordon, MD

Dr. Laura Gordon, M.D., FAAP, is board certified in pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She earned a bachelor’s degree in theater studies at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia and then received her medical degree from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She knew she was a California girl at heart and returned to Southern California for her pediatric residency at the University of California Irvine-Children’s Hospital of Orange County. After her residency, Dr. Gordon practiced medicine in Los Angeles until joining Coastal Kids in 2019. Dr. Gordon believes preventive care is very important and will always encourage regular checkups, nutrition, exercise and immunizations. She loves watching her patients grow and thrive, and loves being a partner with parents and children to keep her patients’ best interests at heart. When not practicing medicine, she loves relaxing on the beach, cooking, traveling, going to the theater, and cheering for the Lakers (for better or for worse).
