This provider made my child feel bad about her body and left her crying on the way home. She assumed because she is on the high percentile for her weight that she doesn't eat healthy or exercise. That is a misconception. I have an older daughter with an eating disorder and this plays a part on why it develops because adults that they respect tell them they are overweight and need to lose weight. She showed her where she is on the growth chart and where she should be which was unreasonable! Her body is growing and it's not one size fits all

It was my first time meeting this provider and I absolutely love her. My son has anxiety going into appointments and she was very kind, gentle, and heard everything we had to say. She validated my mom concerns in a way that eased my worries once I understood what was happening.which was right away. She gave me steps to take if it gets worse and what to look out for.

It's always a pleasant doctor visit when my child has seen Dr. Gutierrez. She takes her time to explain and inquire with both my child and myself. It's greatly appreciated.

She's always been great with both kids. She's also great at listening to me and the father one what is going on with their health physical and mental. Along with what is going on with the kids schooling , and also what the kids have been up to like for exercise and traveling. In general she's great at listening and seeing the progression of the kids, along with guiding us in anyway she can think of to make things a bit easier.
