I made the appointment with Dr. Mendoza as I am re-doing my will and needed a doctor to sign the POLST form and to go over the Directive for Health Care form with me. Dr. Menoza did both. I felt that we connected very well. When I said that I would like to leave my current Providence Primary doctor and was looking for a different one, he said he would take me if his panel wasn't filled. I would like to be on his waiting list, but I've been told there isn't such a thing.

Seems like a great doctor

After my PCP left West Olympia Providence, I was concerned about getting a new doctor. At first, I was "" issued a primary care physician. They were a total disaster! Switched my medications for my previous MD and said that they were going to give me the medication's that they wanted. I refuse to see that provider again. Luckily, I met Dr. Mendoza because my husband was sent to him after our primary care physician left. After my experience with The ARNP I immediately requested Dr. Mendoza. My husband and I are very happy being under his care. He's an excellent doctor!

Dr M is always personable, professional and thorough. He always explains clearly what my conditions are, medications that, therapy, or referrals as needed. He takes time with me and I never leave feeling like I did not get the help I was seeking!

Dr. Mendoza is a nice and caring man but he doesn't always hear what I am saying. This time I was asking for help with a medication to replace Ozempic because I cannot afford it. I brought it up twice but he never prescribed anything new.

I had to see other doctors before I got to see mine. I was in severe pain and he was not available soon enough. But when II finally available he explained what he and II could do to get better. And I am getting better.

As somebody who works in the healthcare industry as a healthcare provider, a few things from a different lens than most patients. I think I have a more critical view of many healthcare providers given my training. I would absolutely trust him with my care, and the care of anybody close to me.

Dr. Mendoza is an excellent physician and has taken good care of my medical needs. He even talked me into getting my overdue pneumonia shot. However, I wish that I had had that done over a long weekend, because my reaction to the vaccine was not pleasant.

This provider is very thorough and knowledgeable in giving explanations and answering questions. He is very attentive and sensitive to my needs and concerns. However, I wish that this provider perform some physical assessment during each visit to recognize any deviations (from normal) or abnormalities.

Dr. Mendoza and his assistant were both wonderful. I had never met this provider and had recently (once again) been assigned a new PCP (not Dr. Mendoza). It's kind of a revolving door, new doctor every time I go. But, if I can have Dr. Mendoza as my PCP going forward, I will be a happy patient.
