Taryn Meacham, MD

Dr. Meacham grew up in the Tri-Cities in southeastern Washington. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Washington Bothell before moving back to attend medical school at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Spokane. Dr. Meacham completed her pediatric residency at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, OR. Dr. Meacham started saying that she wanted to be a pediatrician when she was 9 years old. She has always loved working with kids, whether she was teaching ballet to school-aged children in middle and high school, or volunteering with organizations such as Camp STIX in medical school. Dr. Meacham has also learned that she loves teaching and mentorship, which she plans to continue throughout the rest of her career. Dr. Meacham is thrilled to be starting her career as a general pediatrician at Providence. She loves caring for children of all ages and feels privileged to learn and grow alongside her patients as she teaches them about their health and bodies. She enjoys partnering with her patients, their families, and other medical professionals to create care plans based on each patient’s unique set of needs, particularly for kids with complex medical conditions. Outside of medicine, Dr. Meacham enjoys watching (or participating in!) dance and musical theater, playing video games, and snuggling with her kitties, dog, and husband.
