About Erik G. Gunderson
Dr. Gunderson was raised in the Midwest, specifically in his hometown of Oregon, Wisconsin. His passion for combining biochemistry and healthcare led him in receiving his doctorate in Pharmacy from University of Iowa College of Pharmacy. Additionally, he went on to complete a PGY-1 community-based residency at University of Kansas-Wichita, as well as a PGY-2 ambulatory residency at Providence St. Peter Family Medicine here in Olympia, WA. His philosophy of combining both evidence-based medicine and a holistic approach to patient wellness has maximized his ability to provide the highest level of patient-centered care. His main areas of expertise include diabetes, anxiety/depression, tobacco cessation, asthma/COPD, and polypharmacy.
