About Erik M. Kussro
Dr. Erik Kussro started practice in Anchorage in 2002. He joined the team at Anchorage Neurosurgical Associates in October 2012 providing electrodiagnostic medicine services (EMG and nerve conduction studies) and Botox treatment for muscle spasticity. Dr. Kussro is a graduate of the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where he served as chief resident. He is board certified in both Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. He is available for consultation regarding patients with pain, numbness and tingling or weakness including those with radiculopathies, carpal tunnel syndrome, cubital tunnel syndrome, tarsal tunnel syndrome, foot drop, diabetic or other peripheral neuropathies, brachial or lumbosacral plexopathies, thoracic outlet syndrome, myopathies, muscular dystrophies, neuromuscular junction disorders and motor neuron diseases. Additionally, he has a special interest in managing spasticity using Botulinum toxin for individuals who have had traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke or cerebral palsy, as well as individuals with focal or cervical dystonias or other movement disorders.
