Ria Malhotra, MD

Dr. Ria Malhotra is double board-certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Chronic Pain Management. She received her medical degree through the Sophie Davis Biomedical Education Combined BS/MD Program before completing her Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation residency and Multidisciplinary Pain Management fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center, where she served as Chief Fellow. Dr. Malhotra specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic pain related to joint, ligament, muscle, and nerve injuries. She provides a wide range of rehabilitative and interventional treatments, including image-guided procedures, regenerative therapies, and multidisciplinary approaches tailored to each patient’s unique goals and lifestyle. Her practice emphasizes restoring function, reducing pain, and improving overall quality of life through holistic, evidence-based, and collaborative care.
