About David Q. Underhill

As a physician specializing in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R), my focus is on helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life. I work closely with patients and their families to plan for life beyond the hospital, ensuring that recovery continues in a safe and supportive way. I provide care in areas such as acute rehabilitation evaluations, discharge planning, and durable medical equipment (DME) needs. I also assist with bowel and bladder management, post-operative and neuropathic pain, stroke recovery, traumatic brain injury care (including agitation management), and spasticity treatment. My goal is to meet patients where they are in their journey, providing both compassionate support and evidence-based care so they can achieve the best possible functional outcomes.
