About Sara Hieter

I attended Oregon State University and graduated with an Exercise Science degree(BS), prior to completion of my Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Pacific University. I pride myself on being a native Oregonian and have enjoyed living in many different parts of this great state and have found through experience that rural living is where my heart is. I have taken extensive coursework in orthopedics including manual therapy coursework. Additionally, I have training in vestibular rehabilitation and neurorehabilitation with specialty certification in stroke rehabilitation (CSRS) and I perform wheelchair seating. I pride myself on being a lifetime learner and continue to take regular continuing education and keep up to date on new research in the field. My passion goes beyond the science of physical therapy, and I look forward to working with each patient to meet their goals and get to know their story. In my free time I enjoy cooking, reading, hiking, whitewater rafting, hosting friends/family, and traveling.
