Kristin A. V. Klingenstein, DPM

Dr. Klingenstein was born in, Texas and raised in the small town of Valley City, North Dakota. After graduating from high school, she attended Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. There she majored in Biology and minored in both Chemistry and English Writing, receiving her B.A. in 2004. Dr. Klingenstein attended College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Des Moines University graduating in 2012. She then completed a three year podiatry surgical residency at Eastern Colorado Healthcare Systems, VA Denver Colorado. During residency she had extensive training in wound care and limb salvage techniques. She graduated in 2015 with certification in foot, rear foot, and ankle reconstructive surgery. She is passionate about helping alleviate foot and ankle pain while working closely with patients to help them achieve their treatment goals. Dr. Klingenstein is very excited to join Alaska Podiatry Associates and to become a part of the Anchorage community. Her interests outside of work include hiking, running, skiing and spending time with her husband Max and her dog Caesar.
