This experience had to do with my "foot" concerns.... I've other provider's with Providence keeping me healthy.

We always receive exceptional care from Dr. Penera

The receptionist who checked me in did not understand basic information on my insurance card. And unnecessarily prolonged my check-in. After check-in I was called back for my appointment in the shortest time period ever (less than five minutes). As always, Dr. Penera was cheerful and affable.

I did have to wait for half an hour because someone forgot to place my paperwork in the system when I got there and so Dr. Panera and her nurse did not know that I was there. When they realized that I had waited for so long, they both apologized for my long wait and made sure that the oversight would not happen again.

I LOVE Dr. Penera, she is my favorite specialist doctor to see! She is caring, kind, gentle, friendly, and she knows that I am terrified of having my feet touched, so she is respectful, asks before she touches, offers breaks if I'm getting anxious, distracts me so I don't focus on the fact that someone is touching my feet. In the past, I was so scared to see a doctor for foot issues, but I actually look forward to seeing her!
