About Brian Au
Dr. Brian Au, DPM was born and raised in Virginia. He earned his bachelor's degree in Chemistry with a specialization in Biochemistry from the University of Virginia and his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in North Chicago. Dr. Au completed his three year surgical residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he worked in conjunction with orthopedic, vascular, and plastic surgery. He then completed a fellowship in sports medicine at the Specialty Surgical Center in Irvine, California. He has a diverse training background in biomechanics, rearfoot and forefoot reconstructive surgery, diabetic limb salvage and charcot reconstruction, wound care, trauma, ankle arthroscopy and sports medicine. Dr. Au is a current member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. In his free time he enjoys playing basketball, biking and trying new food.

I have answered all these ? About care from my foot Md regarding care and treatment cont. Of fungus of all my feet toenails which have greatly cleared since cont. With oral medication he has prescribed and he has trimmed them. I am now 82 years arthritis in my hands, back and knees. At risk of poor foot hygiene but his cont. Care has greatly improved my foot health.
