Cody J. Hughes, DO

Dr. Cody Hughes is a psychiatrist who enjoys getting to know his patients as people and helping them find practical, individualized approaches to improving their mental health. He completed his undergraduate education at the University of North Dakota before earning his medical degree from Des Moines University. He then completed his psychiatry residency at Broadlawns UnityPoint Psychiatry Residency in Des Moines, Iowa. Dr. Hughes takes a relaxed, collaborative approach to care and believes that a strong relationship between patient and physician is an important part of treatment. He works with patients to understand what matters most to them and develop treatment plans that fit their individual needs, values, and goals. He is originally from Williston, North Dakota. After spending his medical training years in the Midwest, Dr. Hughes and his wife are excited to make Montana home. Dr. Hughes is excited to become part of the Missoula community and looks forward to building meaningful relationships with his patients and colleagues at Providence Psychiatry and Counseling.
