Board-certified experts at Providence Psychiatry’s outpatient clinic offer safe, clinically appropriate care for adolescents and adults. Our highly skilled staff are guided by the values of respect and compassion and work together to provide personalized, effective care when you need it most. Your psychiatrist may recommend one or more of the following treatments during your therapy:

  • Perform diagnostic psychiatric testing to help determine behavior and treatment plans
  • Psychopharmacologic treatment for medication management or intervention
  • Psychotherapy, the most well-known type of therapy, which involves one-on-one communication between you and your doctor or group psychotherapy involving couples or families

We offer outpatient psychiatric care, medication management and psychiatric consultations. If you or someone you know is struggling with life events, substance abuse, or are living with a known mental illness, Providence Psychiatry can provide the support you need. We have specialists who are experts in services for multiple populations and sub-specialties, including:

  • Geriatrics (senior citizens)
  • Children and adolescents
  • Eating disorders
  • Neuropsychology

Resources are available for patients to access additional services when needed, such as the Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program and Inpatient Hospitalization for crisis stabilization, when necessary.

You won’t be turned away based on your ability to pay. If you receive a new patient packet in the mail prior to your first appointment, please fill out the enclosed forms before you arrive.

Your first visit should take about 90 minutes. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early to check in. Please call if you are running late. We might need to reschedule your appointment to accommodate other patients.

Please provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. That makes it easier for us to fit another patient into your original time slot. And, that helps shorten the wait time for future appointments.

Providence Psychiatry is a referral-based clinic. We look forward to working with you and your patients. Health providers can make a referral by calling 406-327-3362.

Please complete our referral form and send a letter from the referring physician briefly summarizing concerns and clinical course to-date, as well as supporting progress notes and medication list along with this form. Please contact our office with questions.
