Kelly A. Scheneman, PsyD

Kelly A. Scheneman, Psy.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY34401). She completed her doctorate at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, with advanced clinical training in individual and group psychotherapy, as well as psychological and pre-surgical clearance assessments, from Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian (advanced clinical externship) in Newport Beach, CA, the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center (clinical residency) in Detroit, MI, and Newport Neurospecialists (clinical fellowship) in Irvine, CA. Dr. Scheneman’s clinical interests include a broad range of psychological, clinical health, and cognitive concerns including traumatic brain injury, neurodegenerative diseases, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy and psychogenic non-epileptic seizures (PNES), anxiety/stress, trauma/posttraumatic stress disorder, diabetes, chronic pain, and addictive disorders (e.g., alcohol, drugs, food, shopping). Dr. Scheneman is also an active clinical researcher, having co-authored an article in Psychology and Cognitive Sciences, and she has presented several posters at the International Summit on Violence, Abuse, & Trauma (IVAT) in San Diego, CA, and the annual California American Psychological Association Conference.
