About Seung Eun Lee
Dr. Lee is a licensed psychologist specializing in trauma treatment. Following her undergraduate studies at Queen’s University (Kingston, Canada), she earned her doctoral degree in psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she specialized in working with children, adolescents, and their families. She then completed an internship and fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital/Kennedy Krieger Institute, gaining extensive experience in the assessment and treatment of childhood trauma. During this time, Dr. Lee received certifications in TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), PCIT (Parent-Child Interaction Therapy), and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy). Central to her practice is a deep belief in human resiliency and capacity for healing after adversity. Currently, Dr. Lee works at a primary care clinic focusing on preventative care and increasing accessibility to mental health services. She approaches patient care as a personalized experience, aiming to partner with patients to find treatments that are both effective and feasible.
