Jessica Magallanes-Evans, PsyD

Dr. Magallanes-Evans is a licensed Clinical Psychologist who specializes in working with patients struggling with major life transitions, depression and anxiety, relationship concerns, gender and sexuality related issues, and suicidality. After completing her undergraduate studies at Mount St. Mary’s College in Southern California, she went on to complete a Master of Arts and Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at Pepperdine University. Dr. Magallanes-Evans then worked in a variety of mental health settings, including both inpatient and outpatient community mental health. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship at California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo, followed by holding senior clinical counseling staff positions at California State University Chico, and University of California Santa Cruz. During that time, she provided clinical counseling services, crisis intervention, clinical consultation services, psychoeducational outreach, and primary supervision and training of pre-licensed clinicians.
