I really love Dr. Lawton and his team. He iknowledgeable, caring' his office staff very curteous and kind as well as efficient. This was my 3 month checkup appointment, but I had a severre cold and Dr. Lawton took care of me, with anti-biotics; I did get a covid test to be sure I received the right medicine. This is a much improved care I received than from my prior pulmunary Dr. Kim.

Everything is good

This was a Telephone appointment so I did not interact with anyone but Dr. Lawton. This was a follow-up about my CPAP equipment and how I am doing with it. It was a quick meeting over the phone.

Dr Lawton always goes over my prescriptions with me. I don't hear from my medical doctor. He refills my prescriptions with my pharmacy. I see him once a year but I see Dr Lawton more frequently and he discusses my prescriptions with me and changes them if needed. I'm extremely happy with Dr Lawton. So patient and kind. Always listens to me.

Dr. Lawton answered all my questions. He's a very good doctor. I had my first video with him and it was excellent.

The 8 to the previous question is only because it's not in my nature to recommend to others. However, it would be my wish that everyone needing a pulmonologist, had a Dr Lawton. He is so good, comfortable, he is clear about your heath. I can ask him anything about my health, test results that I don't understand or have concerns about a medication. Not all the doctors leave you with a clear understanding or make you feel ok about asking a question. He is totally different, he always make me feel better, understand my situation better, he is a really good doctor and nice person. Thanks for the opportunity to share my thoughts. God bless.

Dr. Lawton is the best. He takes good care of me. He makes sure I have all the needed supplies /equipment for my CPAP. He is very kind, thoroughly professional, and very pleasant. I am very happy that he Is my expert pulmonologist and I trust him.

Dr. Edward Lawton is an amazing doctor and honestly is the BEST doctor that I have ever seen with Providence and outside of Providence. He is professional, kind, listens and provides detailed feedback and is ALWAYS on time for all appointments which is refreshing. He is my favorite doctor and I truly feel he has my best interest at heart therefore, feel confident under his care.

I had an in office visit scheduled and had to cancel because of a dead battery in my car. I called to cancel the appointment and they changed it to a phone visit and Dr. Lawton called me within 10 minutes of my appointment time, which I greatly appreciated.

Dr Lawton identified sleep apnea as a problem worth following up on at my first visit. I am now sleeping better and feel better because of my APAP machine, thanks to him seeing that on my medical history, but which had never been followed up on before. He listens, he actively uses the medical history, and he makes the necessary referrals and actions to provide the appropriate care for his patients.

I love Dr Lawton. My mom has Alzheimer's and he ALWAYS addresses her with the information for her health care fully knowing I as her caregiver is acknowledging all the information. He treats her with incredible respect and dignity and he is not in my wordsan alarmist. He gives the info we need and the way to see her issues through. He is very thorough, kind, understanding and caring!

It took months to get the appointment for a pulmonology consultation, but Dr. Lawton was worth it. He took the time and effort to review the medical history and its current relevance. He ordered a sleep study test that confirmed untreated moderate to severe apnea and has made a referral for treatment. The apnea was part of the medical history, but it had been left untreated for years, impacting overall health and wellbeing. He actively worked to improve the patient's condition, instead of passing it off.

Friendly. To the point. Clear spoken (very important for a person with hearing loss). Efficient, but not rushed. Knowledgeable, but discussions are not buried in medical jargon. Included my wife in all the discussions, also hearing me. And there Is very little "homework " on the internet, to figure out what he was saying. And, he Is willing to actively consider the Impacts of other areas of medicine (heart, vessels, kidneys, nerves, attitude ) A doctor visit I look forward to having, when needed.
