About Ashraf M. Elsayegh
Dr. Elsayegh is a leading pulmonologist in Los Angeles and an authority on the pulmonary care of neuromuscular patients. He is board-certifed in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, critical care and sleep medicine with more than 20 years of experience directing pulmonary, critical care and sleep programs.
He has worked in a variety of leadership roles at Cedars- Sinai Medical Center including director of the medical ICU and clinical chief of the pulmonary division. He currently heads the pulmonary division in the neuromuscular clinic and serves as an associate clinical professor of medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
At Providence Saint John’s Health Center, Dr. Elsayegh is instrumental in developing a comprehensive pulmonary program and a new pulmonary interventional bronchoscopy program
He is also involved in research projects on respiratory care and has participated in multiple neuromuscular clinics. Dr. Elsayegh has deep interest and expertise in respiratory muscle function, including diaphragm dysfunction, and has multiple publications in the field.

My PCP has been a great resource for the 10+ years I've been in their care. Only in the last few years has it been difficult to schedule an appointment with them at either of their locations. I temporarily moved and was able to squeeze in one last check up with the doctor. I wanted to see them for a medical condition and get prescriptions refilled. The care he and his staff showed me was very good. The only problem was the availability of the doctor at times and one of his office's staff members simply not responding to my emails.
