PC Kennedy always has for me provided very personable but professional specialized Pulmonology healthcare AND most recently arranged for my receipt of an O2 generator that has already added significantly to the quality of my life that doesn't show up in minor times of my office visits. Kathryn is one of two of my favorite providers at Providence. Exceptional care provider. I trust Kathryn, physician's assistant, as much if not more than any doctor in her field. I have a serious condition and Kathryn is so informed, helpful and caring. I am in the best hands I could possibly be in with her. I am given correct medications and proper tests to manage my illness and Kathryn is also helpful in fining me care in other specialized fields as I need many types of specialists. I do not feel this way about all of Providence's providers and have left a few. Providers such as Kathryn keep me coming back though.

Ms. Kennedy was very knowledgeable and easy to talk with about the reason for my visit. She laid out a plan to determine my current lung health and establish a baseline of my lung function. She provided her recommendations about how I should proceed and was willing to provide support along the journey. I felt very comfortable with her as a physician and truly felt she knew her stuff. She was articulate, yet able to speak in easily understood terms and the plan of action. Overall a very favorable experience with Ms. Kennedy for the pulmonary visit.

Came down with Covid and happened to already have a regular appt. With /Dr. Gomez scheduled. It was changed to a virtual because of being contagious. Because of the change, I had the Zoom meeting with Dr. Kennedy, his assistant. She was wonderful, best virtual appt. I've ever had for she went deep into all the Issues I was dealing with and came up with a plan to start addressing those Issues. Very through.

Ms. Kennedy and, Dr. Gomez in a way have given me second life.. I was suffering too much with cough, chest pain and breathing issues for total of almost a year. Ex-rays were getting done at regular doctor's office and was being told nothing Is wrong..so was admitted In the hospital 3 times.. When Dr. Gomez in the hospital on March of 2026 did my bronchoscopy I got much relief. Glad to have these kind If care team. Dr. Gomez Is best! Feeling blessed! Ms. Kennedy Is also best she listens, she follows through and really go beyond to help In every single way to find out where is the problem, and how she can solve It!Feel blessed!!Thx

Kathryn is great

Most of my health care providers are now at UCI. I stay with Mission Pulmonology mainly because of Katy (Kathryn) PA. As a retired RN and nursing teacher I value competence in knowledge and communication. Katy has both of those qualities and I appreciate that she works with me to plan and implement care for my asthma and ABPA. And, when more advanced treatment and testing is requited, Dr. Goldberg has the training and competence to provide state-of-the-art techniques and procedures like robotic bronchoscopy.

In the survey indicated that she always went over my blood tests. That's not quite correct. She ordered blood tests, but they have not been reported yet But just from my experience of my visit with her, I'm sure that once the blood test come in, she will definitely explain them to me She was extremely thorough and explained previous scans tests that I had in an extremely understandable way I really felt that she wants to figure things out to make me well!

All of my providers are responsive, very thorough, attentive and I always feel confident I am getting the best care.

I originally moved all my care to Providence because of Dr. Qureshi. I was concerned about not seeing him anymore because of the excellent care I received from him for my pulmonary issues. But Ms. Kennedy was informed, knowledgeable, thorough, and I didn't miss a beat in the quality of care. I would recommend her highly.

PA Kennedy was the best she could be: on time, informed about my history, empathetic, easy to understand, decisive with understanding the complete picture, and concerned for my well being at all times. She walked me to her scheduler to make sure I got the exact right next visit date. Highly recommended.
