Tauseef Qureshi, MD

Dr. Qureshi grew up in Orange County, Calif., and attended Chapman University, where he earned a BS in Biology with University Honors in 2002. After graduation from medical school, he completed his training in internal medicine at the University of Florida, Jacksonville, in 2010. He stayed on for advanced fellowship training in Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine (PCCM) and completed this training in 2013.

In August 2013, he joined the University of Southern California as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine. During his time at USC, he was the Director of the Medical Intensive Care Unit at Keck Hospital of USC. He was a dedicated educator and served as the Associate Program Director of the PCCM fellowship program. In 2013, he was named PCCM Teacher of the Year. Dr. Qureshi has presented his research at national conferences and has published articles in various journals during his career. He joined Mission Heritage Medical Group in 2015 to further put his skills to use in our community.

Dr. Qureshi cares for critically ill patients in the intensive care units at Mission Hospital. In addition, he specializes in the inpatient and outpatient care of patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Dr. Qureshi also possesses advanced skills in interventional pulmonology to help diagnose and treat symptoms of advanced lung diseases and lung cancer.

Dr. Qureshi is committed to a patient-centered approach to care. He wants his patients to experience customized, comprehensive and compassionate care in the office, and in the hospital.
