About Christopher K. Hwe
Dr. Hwe is a native of Orange, California. After completing medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin, he returned to California to complete his residency and chief residency in Internal Medicine at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. His passion for helping the underserved led him to remain there to complete his fellowship in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Hwe is excited to return to his hometown to serve the community in which he was born and raised. He values the patient-physician relationship and empowers patients to have an active role in making decisions about their healthcare. Dr. Hwe is an avid fitness enthusiast as well as an amateur drone videographer and guitarist. He loves basketball, traveling, and spending time with his wife, young son, and dog.
