About Mahmoud Q. Moammar
Dr. Mahmoud Moammar is board-certified interventional pulmonologist at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Orange with over a decade of leadership in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. He currently serves as the program director for Pulmonary Services at Providence Saint Joseph Hospital, Orange.
He earned his medical degree from the Jordan University of Science and Technology and completed his fellowship training at Seton Hall University, where he served as Chief Pulmonary Fellow.
Board-certified in interventional pulmonology, pulmonary disease and internal medicine, Dr. Moammar has an extensive clinical and academic background, including numerous publications and national presentations on pulmonary and critical care topics.
His clinical expertise includes advanced bronchoscopic procedures, lung cancer, and COPD management, with a special focus on endobronchial zephyr valve placement.

Dr.Moammar really listened to me and got to the bottom of what was happening with my shortness of breath. Other providers had told me I was out of shape or anxious. When the real problem was a ventilation deficit percentage that was causing my issue. He ordered all the right tests and was able to discover the underlying problem. I honestly can't think him enough for listening paying attention and getting me on the right track to feeling better.

I usually see this provider every year after a cancer screening. Should I get sick and it has something to do with breathing, pulmonary etc. I have called his office or would call his office because he is my pulmonologist and is aware of my health conditions. He was very informative and answered all my questions. He also went over my results so I understood what everything meant or referred to.
