Kyra N. Mccomas, MD

Dr. McComas grew up hiking and skiing in Salt Lake City, Utah. She graduated summa cum laude from Santa Clara University with bachelor’s degrees in history and biochemistry, then returned to Utah for medical training at the University of Utah School of Medicine. She completed specialty training in radiation oncology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, where she published widely and received premier training in various radiation techniques, including intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT), stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), high dose rate (HDR) brachytherapy, adaptive radiotherapy (ART), intraoperative radiotherapy (IORT), and GammaTile brachytherapy.
